Hey guys so just tuning in really quickly to announce a change in some of the articles on the site. There
will still be stories, POTD, quick fixes but all of this with the exception of one thing. I will be adding
separate news articles, for example on the last quick fix i had talked about the airless tires, now with the
new set up i will have a little rant on that specifically and only that. So look forward to it because i know i

Quick Fix
Saab the Swedish car company is shutting down, rather a sad prospect as they did have some good cars. Hopefully this plague of financial problems over the last few years wont result in the death of more automakers.
Engines for the Cadillac ATS have been announced, you will have 3 choices, a V-6, or 2 different types of I-4's one of those available with a turbo. the v-6 which will be top dog in the engine choices will be producing more than 300 hp, so this new sedan will be quite the competitor for the 3 series, and IS series
Bridgestone has been showing off their new air free tire design, currently only in the development stages, this "air-free" tire will be composed of cross spokes, and very strong one. If that wasnt enough this tire will also be made completely out of recycled material, so in the future behold the Air-Free tire!
The Porsche Turbo S Edition Spyder 918, and the Spyder 918 are becoming more of a reality. The Spyder if you dont know is a hybrid super car, with a predicted 3.1 0-60 time, AWD, and a maximum hp of 718. This car is going around the Nubergring faster than a Carrera GT, and with "conservative" gas milage numbers of 94mpg, this car is stacking up to be one impressive beast. All of this seems to be making this car quite the winner, but the Spyder 918 will set your back around $800K, yes.... 800, and the special edition Turbos around $160K.
The Merc C63 AMG Black, just lapped the Nurbergring in 7:46!, that surpasses its competition of the BMW M3 GTS. Very impressed, only thing is this car is a truly track dedicated car, and as said before and now way to hard for the street.

Now this picture is a very early picture but the general concept of the car is suppose to be a GT or Gran Touring car, seeing the size it can see why that is believed, and im not going to lie i like the look but will it work? when i say work i mean price wise... it will probably be more than $125K but never the less cant wait to see it.

Quick Fix
2013 John Cooper Works Mini is getting good reviews. As it is know minis are very small, light, pretty quick cars. John Cooper Works is the special edition that the guys down at Mini offer, you get 4WD, a lighter body, a new more aggressive bodykit, and 181 Hp. The only down fall of this car is that its base price for the John Cooper Works edition is ridiculously over priced, probably going to be around 40k which frankly is way to much for a mini, just buy a Bimmer, or Audi.
It has been announced that the Morgan Aero GT will be delayed for another 2 years! Well what can you expect from a company that builds their chassis from wood, in a small factory, cant blame em.
Its been confirmed that there will be a Aston Martin V12 Vantage Roadster, and with any roadster a performance drop comes so lets see how this will compare to the coupe.

Quick Fix
Next Subaru engine has been announced, 2.0 liter boxer producing 270 hp, that may not seem like much but when combined with the amazing tuning and 4WD of Imprezas, near super car performance can be reached. It still amazes me though that Subaru and Mitsu can still get that much horsepower out of a 2.0 Liter 4 Cylinder engine.BMW and Toyota have a partnership!, yeah who know. Whats the first thing they are going to do? well of course put some Diesel engines in some Camry's. Now you may be wondering when will this be coming here, as Camry reliability with BMW performance and reliability is heaven(besides the whole Prius incident), strangely enough though this car will only be in Australia, assuming that this does go through. Lets see what those lucky Aussies get and then we'll decide.
On the Italian side of things though Ferrari has announced quite a few exciting goodies. The Ferrari California will be getting a facelift, which is perfect( No, seriously it is i think the California is ugly). The next Enzo has been planned, and a replacement for the amazing 599 GTB Floriano.
The 2012 Lotus Exige S is coming to america but in the form of a track car! Sporting a Supercharged V-6 anda body which weighs as much as a feather this can will be one exciting ride.
BMW 650i 0-60 in about 4.5 seconds, and for a car that weighs around 2 tons that is amazing. This new body style is better, and its quicker than some ///M's and its not even an ///M... which doesn't really make sense, but non the less an impressive feat( even though the pricing is ridiculous)

Ford you still dont make sense
Shelby GT500, Shelby GT350, Boss 305, At first glance the order in which i put these names wouldn't really matter, but if they did how would you look at them? Best to worst, or vice versa..... well i put them from worst to best. Ford has recently been coming out with heavily tuned monsters, of course progressing from the ridiculous Ford Mustang SVT which had an amazing exhaust note, but this 4th generation was considered to be a failure. Then there was the 5th generation which was the more squarish body, and most people would put the 5th generation under current as well but i feel as if 2010- present is technically the "6th generation" given that almost everything on the car changed. What this 6th generation as well as the 5th generation has given us is the GT500, the Boss 302 and the GT350(no particular order) 
Now granted the names should technincally be a tell all, back in the day when companies gave names based on the HP(or at least in america) but this is false. The GT500 is making around 550Bhp, the 302 around 444Bhp and the GT350 around 350 Hp. This would make the tables turn in the direction of the GT500 yet they dont for some reason. The reason... its rather stupid if you ask me, it sort of represents why America has never done exceptionally well in the car world with the exception of the famous truck. They overlook the little things, or in this case the big things. The conception of Americans and cars is Horses horses and more horses, all we care about is power and thats is the common view from everyone else in the world. We cant build a good reliable car (like the Germans) because all we concentrate on is power in our upper range models. 
This power problem is what causes this discrepancies here with these cars. The GT500 is making the most power but its running on some archaic version of rear suspension called an independent suspension setup where the back wheels dont communicate with the front wheels at all. The GT500 is also running skinny tires and doesn't even have launch control. The GT350 and the Boss on the other hand have updated suspension, better grippier wide tires, better tech, better gearboxes, and well better everything. This being said when the GT500 starts at 48K and the 302 at 40K why even glance at the GT500. The 302 turns better, accelerates faster, brakes faster, and looks sleeker.
Now you can see the meaning in my title, Ford is making great cars... yes great, this 302 is amazing, and well could be a M3 killer(i guess) but they are deceiving us with these names and prices. I am not saying raise the price of the 302 but rather adjust the price of the GT500. I hope Ford can keep making cars like the Boss because if that is the future of Ford i wouldn't mind me one, well as long as i have my Bavarian beauty that is.

Quick Fix
Mercedes takes to the top of the sales units for the month of November, which has been usually dominated by BMW. BMW gave a statement saying the only reason is because they decided to hold back their new 3 series until 2012 which is a good economic decision.
Traxxas came out with a remote controlled car that can hit 100MPH, this little car will even give super cars as run for their money as O to 100 is achieved in a mere 5.1 Seconds and 0-60 in 2.3.
The new Koniggsegg Agera R has broken 6 Guinness Records. 0-184 mph in 14.53 seconds, 0-200 in 17 seconds,200-0 in 7.28 seconds, 186-0 in 6.66 seconds 0 to 200 to 0 in 24 seconds, and 0-186-0 in 24.96. Not to mention the rumored top speed is....275 MPH finally somebody giving Bugatti a run for their money as the worlds fastest car, and in a sexier car. Talk about ridiculous heres the video.
In other news GM has built their 100 millionth small block engine and by any stretch of the imagination that is a ridiculously amazing achievement, congrats to GM for being able to stay around and being popular enough to achieve this feat.
Cadillac releases some teaser pictures of their new "ATS" series which is scheduled for production in 2013. This car is a small 4 door sports sedan and its aimed right at the heart of the car world, the BMW 3 series. Though from what Cadillac as been coming out with i would not be surprised at all if this car happened to be even better than the 3 series, that is assuming they can keep their quality up.

Quick Fix
Mercedes Announces they are going to close their luxury brand, the one and only Maybach. Mercedes is saying that this is because the dim sales of Maybach's but lets face it, that just isn't true, Maybach is a world renowned company, and are very rare and exclusive, if anything Mercedes just want to implement that Maybach into their next S class.
Porsche announces a new concept car unter the name of the 9P1, seems Porsche is going for possibly a supercar with a redesigned body as well as 400 horses under the hood. Personally i do not really like the body, it is insidious but sexy... not really. Hopefully we can see this car in car shows over the next few years. VIDEO
Another concept car has also bee announced and it is the unique and missed Acura NSX, now that Acura has gotten their finances in place since their company boom in 05' they can suport such a sporty car. It is expected to be seen during the Detroit Auto Show on January 7th, we will definitely be looking out for this one.
The new 3series has been reviewed and of course rating are high across the board, and many have been able to say its still probably the best car in its class! Even though i do not like the body that much, i will eventually fall in love with it, its inevitable, not to mention this 3 series still comes with a Manual, and if anything BMW should be commended for this.

Lexus GS Series
Lexus is really starting to pump up there game, going from the ES300(luxury car without any performance capabilities) and the IS300(Otherwise known as the Toyota Altenza, and had an amazing turning radius) to the crazy and wonderful IS-F, and LFA. If anything it seems like Lexus is starting to become more sporty, and is it because they had to or they just wanted to crush the competition?
The year 2005 marked the introduction of the 3rd generation of GS sedans, before this the GS in Lexus was not as highly recognized. This 3rd generation brought in nice, big, well curved, and reliable models. This year was also when the world got a chance to see the new IS series as well as the rumors of the LFA, Lexus was starting to pick their game up. The GS series is basically the executive cars of Lexus, originally meant to bridge the gap between the IS and ES series, the GS soon because something else, as it
quickly gained its own popularity. To the left is a picture of the 3rd generation of the GS series, yes it doesn't look that sporty, just a big car that probably floats down the road. Looking at this though it is easy to deduce who its main competition is, of course its BMW and Mercedes Benz. Now seeing that with this car comes more standard equipment, and will end up being cheaper fully loaded than a half loaded Bimmer or Merc it would seem this car would be the better choice. Yet it isn't and why is that, well for one BMW and Mercedes have a certain demeanor, something that just makes you want one, an aura lets say. Lexus on the other hand, frankly didn't have an aura at this time, even if it was cheaper than a 5 series or a E or S class. This new Lexus though evens the playing field a bit, getting a big facelift, and some more sportier mechanics, it seems this Lexus will be giving BMW and Mercedes a run for their money.
At first you might be thinking wait a minute that looks like an IS-F, just a little. Well thats what Lexus was going for, they want to make this new GS series a lot more sporty than it use to be. You can see this by the gawking front diffuser, and curved lip side skirts and the aluminum alloys. These improvements though aren't just skin deep, they extend all the way to the core of car. The car still has pretty much the same hardware as the previous GS but there are a few twists, parts and ideology from the IS-F series. What i mean is sportier shocks, paddle shifters that can be just as violent as the IS-F, Sport modes for adjustment in throttle control, suspension stiffness and etc., and there will be an AWD version available as well. Now in terms of Performance it is a bit difficult to estimate as Lexus is still working out kinks, but a projected 5-6 second 0-60 time would not be far off by my estimations, although there will be a sport version of the GS offered not under the F name(although there is speculation of a GS-F) but will be able to do 0-60 in 5.6 seconds.

This is a HUGE car, i mean HUGE, weighing a tad bit under 2 tons this thing is hard to get moving. The current GS series does have the GS460 which does have a V-8 but that option is out the window now, and frankly it will be hard for the top of the line versions of this GS series to compete with the top of the line versions of BMW's or Mercedes. Yes the prices will be thousands of dollars apart but BMW and Mercedes just deliver for what you pay. At least in the 5 series for BMW, not really in the lower end 3 series. Quick Fix
BMW M5 officially does 0-60 in 3.7 seconds and a quarter in 12
Sergio Scalietti died on Nov.20, and if you aren't familiar with him he was a designer for Ferrari, he came up with the beautiful designs of the Testa Rossa 250, the 500 Mondial, as well as other amazing cars.
The next Dodge Viper SRT 10 is expected to be a softer version of its predecessors. This is a depressing development, because if you didn't know, before now the Dodge Viper didn't have traction or stability control, this meant one crazy car, and one that really wasn't meant for a lot of people. Hopefully we see what we are working with spec wise for this next Viper.
The Mercedes C63 AMG Black has been reviewed and its just as bad as any black series. For those who dont know what the "black" series is, it is a super version of an AMG. Its been stripped and tuned and for a comparison it would be like a M3 GTS, but this Merc is even quicker than that, with a N/A(Naturally Aspirated) engine producing 510 hp. Now from this is can been seen the GTS is the C63's main competition but considering that GTS is a track built car while the CL isnt will be a interesting fight.
McLaren opened up a huge new factory in England, costing millions of dollars, and when i say million i mean +60 million plus. If anything this is great as McLaren has only really built 2 cars if you even want to consider the F1 as one of them, but just 2 and they are perfect. This "perfect" one im referring to is the McLaren MP412-C, which is quicker that a ferrari 458 Italian, Porsche GTRS2, and in a straight like the Nissan GTR, these are all heavy hitters and McLaren seems to breeze right past them. So stimulating the economy as well as building the quickest cars in the world... I am expecting many great things from McLaren.
The Nissan Juke R is starting to become more of a reality especially since videos have been produced of the engine being placed in the bay of this little crossover. It will be producing 480bhp with a projected top speed of 196 mph and that will be one legitimate Crossover SUV Supercar. Links below

Quick Fix
New Merc ML63 AMG came out, 519 Hp on the entry version on, but with the performance package its bumped up to 550Hp, all this power results in a 0-60 time of 4.7 seconds. The Merc also features updated looks with gaping front and rear intakes, it looks like one mean SUV but comparable to the X5M and X6M, the Mercedes main competition, it will be a close race for the best(no pun intended)
Details on the New Hyundai Genesis have come out, boasting a 345 Hp V-6 and 8 speed Automatic gearbox. That doesn't mean that car wont be offered in a 6 speed manual even though that will probably be preferred.

Therefore the 500 in the GT500 doesnt apply anymore, that 500Hp is dwarfed by the new 5.4 Liter 600 Hp V-8 capable of 200Mph!. These numbers are gunning for the new Camaro ZL1, a little friendly competition on American soil never hurt anyone.(Besides the Civil War)
