Back to the Manual Transmission!

Driving cars is almost a learning commodity in today’s world. You have to reach from point a to point b, whether it is for a party, school, game or hang out. The question though for this article is not whether or not you need a car, cause that’d be silly, why would I question my existence on this blog? This article is about the dwindling amount of manual transmissions in the world, or more specifically in America. To first explain this unfortunate series of events I have to say what exactly a manual transmission is. This is where the driver has full control of the gears of the car, Reverse all the way to 5th or 6th. These gears are controlled by a lever and a clutch pedal, in unison all of these things work together to disengage a gear and allow you to select the next gear to be put into action.

While “manual” transmission give you control the more widely used and seen is the automatic transmission. This is where a computer in the car selects which gear to use and when to use it, thus leaving one more hand free as compared to a manual transmission. This then sounds like a dandy idea, why not just put the car in drive and be content with it? Well I can think of a couple ranging from simple safety to, quite seriously, saving the world! When a driver is learning how to drive manual they are infatuated with the event, I can use my experiences as an example. I always wanted to learn how to drive a manual, its sort of a staple to me and in my mind is the only way to really drive a car. You are able to feel the vibrations of the car through the gear lever, you can feel just where the gears disengage and re-engage through the clutch and knowing you have full control over the car is also a very comforting feeling. What manual allowed me to do was concentrate on the task at hand and do everything right. As we all know texting and driving is a big problem on the streets, you will usually see at least one person the way home using their phone while they drive, its hard not to, considering we are in a technology driven world. What I am trying to say is not that people will stop doing that if they drive a manual, but it definitely will make it more difficult. Driving a manual car also allows for better gas mileage as you are able to control the exact points when a gear shifts.

On the more devious sides of things though manuals can also allow somebody to accelerate quicker than compared to an automatic because of loss of powers though a automatic transmission, but that’s another scientific article. All in all when manual transmissions are looked at what could the harm be? Well besides the lack of people wanted to do I cant seem to find any. It is not until we move into the realm of racing do problems of a manual transmission come out.

More and more performance cars are starting to loose their option for manual transmissions. Ferrari and Lamborghini have sworn never to offer another one again, but why? Why deprive people of the integrated feeling of a car? Well put simply, because of speed. What all the performance cars you read about use is not a traditional automatic system but instead something called DSG, SMG, Dual-Clutch, or Manual-Automatic. These systems are not like automatics in the sense there is a computer doing all the work, no computer calculating whether you can go to that gear or not, and whether it is safe or not. This “Manual Auto” systems are in essence a manual transmission except with the ability to manually switch gears with the use of two little paddles, these mechanisms are lightning quick , so quick in fact they can switch from one gear to the other in less time than you can blink, we are talking milliseconds here. This means people on the track can shift faster and get better power in and out of the turns quicker than even the best manual drivers. So there are benefits and negatives to a manual transmission, but none the less it still something, I think, everybody should learn. It teaches you how your car really behaves and shows the driver just how much control they are able to have over their car. Not to mention driving a manual is so rare now days that if you can drive one…. You’re a car guy. Thanks for reading

Magnetic Suspension and the ZL1

It has always been thought that American Car makers are always behind the ball when it comes to technology as compared to our European and Japanese counterparts. These counterparts have exceeded the U.S. in sales, quality, and sustainability in the everyday cars we drive. Truth be told though the U.S. has been pushing the bar in technology, and one of their inventions that has recently gained a lot of interest is Magnetic Suspension.

Suspension to a car is like the knees to the human body. It’s the ability to dampen pressure put on the legs,  it allows your joints to last longer, and most importantly walk and run without waddling like a penguin. In a car suspension this translates to the ride being soft and luxurious or stiff and sporty. These categories are usually done with a set of springs or struts that can be either aftermarket or straight from the factory. As you can imagine then the stiffer the spring the harder the ride and the softer the spring the smoother the ride, but there is always a perfect balance that some companies are able to achieve, but with a compromise, a compromise that the settings must be adjusted yourself. This is where Magnetic Ride Control is implemented. General Motors(GM) has had this technology since the early 2000’s it was created by a sister group that is now implemented in many of the GM cars that you see on the road today, as well as exotics like the Corvette ZR1, Ferrari 599 GTB, and the Audi R8. It is not until now though that GM has really perfected the idea of a Magnetic Suspension system.

The way a Magnetic suspension system works is through the use of oil based magnetic particles and magnets. This suspension works on the idea that when a magnetic is brought close enough to these particles they will stiffen up and allow for less movement and when this magnet is moved away it will turn back into a regular liquid. So in the end when this system is working, when it is adapting on the road you can get a perfect balance of Comfort and Sportiness based on the way you drive. These particles and magnets react millions of times a second which allows them to “adapt” to any handling situation at hand. This means when you are a taking a turn at high speed the suspension will stiffen allowing a longer window of full contact between the road and the tire, or if driving on a bumpy road the perfect amount of liquidity in the magnetic oil to keep the car as stable as possible.
The Camaro ZL1 is the perfect example of how this is being implemented, it has been praised and rated for its amazingly comfortable ride, like a luxury car while still being able to put up track times that compete with the great Porsche 911, which is an  achievement in the American automotive sector. One New York Times writer described it as "Instead of plowing through corners, the rear end is willing to step out and point the front end into the turn. I've driven an M3 on this track, and the ZL1 really feels like a big BMW M car. Call it the M6's American pen pal." This is the goal that America has never really been able to meet with full confidence, but maybe this new ZL1 will be the beginning of a very fulfilling growth in the coming years, especially considering the extremely competitive pricing of the actual car and maintenance as compared to the Europeans. GM is catching up, but when you are competing with big players like Ferrari, BMW, Audi, Porsche, Nissan and Mclaren the level of play approaches the point where the only thing the consumer can do… is enjoy.

Quick Fix: BMW, Ferrari ENZO, and Shelby

The BMW M5 and BMW M3 are already great cars when they come out of the factory and with their special editions that drop some special matte paint on the car, they can even be unique as compared to their glossy paint counterparts. This being said, to improve a car that already revs to 8300 RPM, and another that has a twin turbo V-8 in an executive salon is a very hard ordeal. Yes, i know all of you are thinking wow, BMW must really be working overtime, except they aren't... it is yet again another marketing scheme. The names of tese special edition BMW 3 and 5 ///M cars are the BMW M3, and M5 ///M Performance, what comes with these cars then? You get 19s for the M3 and 20s for the M5 and blacked out interior with some cool matte paint and that is about it. It doesn't really make sense i know, it should just be offered as a limited edition as compared to another car in the line up and considering that ///M performance is better than a regular 3 series but not as good as the M series that would mean these cars of sub-M cars, meaning they suck.... meaning they have no place in this world... meaning.... what the hell is BMW doing!?

The Ferrari Enzo is a great car, scratch that, an amazing car, the FXX is the lunatic version of this great car, and finally the FXX Evolotionze is the Psycho Lunatic version of this car, with 899 HP and basically the same weight of a feather this car could classify for R2 racing on the world circuit, so to appreciate this car, and why you aren't allowed to take it home, enjoy the video below!

The Ford Mustang has never had any place in my heart, its never been particularly good at anything, and was always a poser boy car in my opinion, but there were always Shelby's, producing hundreds more horsepowers per liter as compared to the regular mustangs, and it was always because of a man named Caroll Shelby, and last week on May 10th, he died, it is a sad day in automotive, as his ideas drove the Mustang to its more popular stage, he will be missed, but we'll enjoy his cars.Image Gallery: Exotic Cars

Aston Martin V12 Vantage. This car in my opinion is one of the best looking cars on the market today, and looking at it right now its sitting on coil-overs and custom wheels and it gives the car a very aggressive stance

Rant! Nissan Juke-R PRICING

The Nissan GTR is a car that seems to defy the laws of physics with its godly grip and for good reason, its loaded with technology and an engine that could go up with any car on the market today, and at a pretty affordable price.

The Nissan Juke is an interesting car as well, it is a crossover type of car, i dont really know how else to describe and it isn't the prettiest thing in the world but its a pretty zippy car with its little turbo in there, i assume. I did drive the RDX turbo so im guessing power delivery of a stock Juke is around the same. So looking at these two car the question becomes what would you pay for a Nissan Juke, that has the same power train and suspension as a Nissan GT-R?

Well Nissan calls this devil baby the Nissan Juke-R, a special edition Juke that as stated above has the same power and handling of a Nissan GT-R. The title f this article though is the pricing of this car, soooo what is it? Well an inside source said it would be around $600K, yeah that is no joke. You could buy multiple GT-Rs for that, and more than a dozen Jukes for that, so why the high price tag. Well Nissan is building this one off for every customer, which means you need to buy a Juke and then a GT-R, these 2 will then be torn apart and then made into a Nissan Juke GT-R. Ridiculous yes, you could buy Lambos, Pagani's, Ferrari's, basically anything you could possible need to fulfill your super car needs. So then what this car is, is a ridiculously fast, cool and crazy car for more or less rich people to show-off, because they will be so rare. Does it make sense to me... no, but to somebody, it obviously has to if Nissan is putting this much work into it.

Picture of the day: Porsche

The Porsche 911 the car that never really made sense. Besides the 911 paradoxical engine set-up i realized that the  salesmen at Porsche Dealerships are just a bunch of snooty douches. Yes it is true, i didn't mention why i was there though....;] well I will soon enough.
Enjoy the Picture!

Suprise! Zonda 760RS, and custom M3

As you all might know the two cars if i could own any in the world, would be the Pagani Zonda F and the E46 M3(With my own tasteful mods) These 2 cars are my world, i drool when i see them and i cant imagine anything else being in my household in another probably 15 years(M3 much sooner). Today though i have a special surprise for all, a special edition Pagani Zonda and a custom E46 BMW M3.

We'll start with the M3, as you know the M series is pretty famous and the biggest of them all is the famous M5, boasting 500 hp and a sky highs redline this is the executive saloon to have. How does it translate to an M3 though? well it wasnt a typo but rather a man by the name Phil Morrison has put that same V10 from the M5 into the M3. Yes an M3 producing 500 hp from a naturally aspirated engine, but of course this cant be all, no stock m3 could handle that... Well Phil outfitted his ///M with an E90 M3 manual tranny, coil overs, special 3 piece wheels, brake pads and of course brake rotors, which i might add are sitting ridiculously flush with the wheels. Enough of me though enjoy the short video below.

Next up is the big part, the Pagani Zonda is defined as one of the most beautiful cars ever made, and one of the quickest cars ever made(could definitely beat the Bugatti on a track) There have been countless editions introduced by Pagani and every single one never ceases to amaze, from the uniform carbon fiber body, to the howl of that AMG Engine sitting in the bay. I today though am here to introduce a very special Zonda, the Zonda 760 RS, there is only one in the whole world and it costs.... wait for it.... $1.6 million. More than most of us will ever see in our lifetimes this car is pricey, but for good reason to, producing 760 hp about 100 more than the closest Zonda in the line-up this car will eat you for breakfast, lunch and dinner. The Engine is amazing, the looks are amazing, and attention to detail is amazing, my only real gripe with this car is that is has a Flappy Paddle gearbox but never mind that, enjoy!

DTM series underway

Other wise known as the German Touring Car masters this racing series. This series has been around for a pretty long time but was discontinued in 96 because of cost and was revamped in 2000 and since then the series has been better than ever.

HWA Mercedes AMG C-CoupéThe series has mainly Audi, Mercedes-Benz, and BMW as they are German, and they are major constructors of touring cars, but since this series can also extend to the rest of Europe other companies like Opel, Jaguar, Renault, and Alfa Romeo can be included. Originally the cars in these series were suppose to be only sedans but now they are primarily coupes, the best part is the actual specifications of the cars. They are all required to be Rear Wheel Drive, 4.0 L V8's that are unfortunately restricted to 470 hp, and the coolest visual part is the special body kits made specifically for racing. Now all of this is nice and all ut you are probably wondering why am i telling you all of this, well the series is starting now but more importantly BMW has announced they will be in the DTM series this year!!! Starring the one and only BMW M3, it'll be BMW's first reappearence in the DTM series since the First-Generation E30 M3.

But let my words get out of the way, here are some awesome pictures:

Lamborghini SUV, New Ducati Ownership, and Dubai Enzo

Lamborghini has finally decided to move back into the SUV sector, dubbed Urus, their first debut being about a decade ago. This new SUV surprise is really a move to get a foothold in China's SUv market which is projected to increase by 56% in 2015. The styling of this new Lambo is going with the crossover SUV look but seems to draw more specifically from the Range Rover Evoque which has a slanted roof starting from the A Beam. As usual the SUV will be All Wheel Drive like every other car in their bull ring(besides the special edition Gallardo Balboa i believe). Demand and interest seems like it will be high for this car and with a estimated 600+ hp power range and a price tag of only around $200K this car is looking pretty good! The only other competition really is the Range Rover Supercharged and the BMW X5M, of course on road the Lambo will probably decimate but the real question is will the Urus have any real off-road capability like the Range Rover?

Lamborghini's latest SUV "Urus" is on display at the Beijing International Automotive Exhibition in Beijing, China, Tuesday, April 24, 2012.

Audi as we all know is a huge German Automaker so huge in-fact that they purchased Lamborghini a few years back and created the monster Murcialago that changed everything the lp-640, one of my personal favorite cars. Today Audi is the owner of another great company, the one and the only Ducati! This isn't even the most crazy news though because Audi agreed to buy them for $1.2 Billion, yes.... 1.2 you aren't going crazy and i didn't make a spelling mistake. What Volkswagon- Audi has done is create a super empire, they have their entry brand(VW), Luxury Brand(Audi), Ultra Performance(Audi, Lamborghini) and now the special vehicles (Ducati). Their reach is starting to expand, the question is really now will the other German Carmakers *cough* *cough* BMW be able to keep up with the exponential expansion of Audi?

Dubai is full of famous, not so famous and ridiculous rich, people so rich in fact that they ditch their 1.6 million dollar Ferraris in a sand ridden parking lot for 20 months!  Why do such an evil thing, well all in the name of taxes and tickets, of around 27K not to mention that this car was wanted by Interpol. This car will be actioned off in the next month and its value could range anywhere from $800K to $1.2Million. Don't think this is the only outcast in Dubai there are hundreds of Supercars in Dubai just lying their waiting to be saved, please somebody find all of these gems!

2013 Dodge Viper

Quick Fix: BMW M3, Vipers, Dodge, and Subaru

The Dodge Charger SRT8 Superbee has officially come out and it is one mean car. I am definetly not a fan of the yellow and black color scheme though, and knowning Dodge of course the interior is not as refined as you would expect, but when it is $4K cheaper than the actual SRT8 model and pumps out 425 hp( or more? haha just to keep the insurance companies off their ass)then it seems to be a good deal.

In other American car news, there have been some teasers of the new Viper, teasers of the new Interior. It looks like a true supercar now, draped in red and high quality black trim. I cannot wait to see this new viper, the only thing i am worried about though is the exterior of the car, will it be harsh with straight lines, or soft with big curves.

2013 SRT Viper interior teaser image

The Subaru WRX is known for being hte poor mans supercar, being able to proper itself under 5 seconds to 60 from a mere 2 liter inline 4 this car defys what we know as possible. The next generation is going to be a 3 door hatchback with an electric turbo. Obviously the WRX wont be based off of the next Gen Impreza which frankly doesnt look sporty at all now, but through all of this madness going on at Subaru the real question is what are we looking at for the STI version
Next Subaru WRX Illustration

And to end todays news BMW have finalized their engine for the Next M3, a Twin Turbo 3.0 Liter V-6. BMW is claiming this will pump out 426 hp and 405 IB of torque! Now this will be the first forced induction factory M3 and it is a bit sad, as the era of N/A was a great time. I guess all we can wait for now is just how amazing this new ///M will be.

Geneva Auto Show: Lotus, RUF Porsche, Mercedes, Gumpert

The Lotus Exige S has always been an amazing car, one of the best handling, smallest, and sexiest cars ever made, and now there is a new model! It looks absolutly amazing, can wait for the driver tests.2012 Lotus Exige S roadster

Lotus is also coming out with a special edition Evora, boasting a 444hP V-6 and carbon fiber at every angle of the car.
Lotus F1 Team Evora GTE
Ruf RGT-8RUF is one of the premier members in the small legion of Porsche tuners, they are known for their clean excution and significant boost in the power of their cars, but this time they really outdid themselves. a Porsche 911, with a few exterior changes but more importantly a huge 4.5 Liter    V-8 has been put in place of the flat six. Now Engine swaps may not be the smartest thing, but RUF knows what they are doing, especially with an output of 543 HP and a price tag of $263,000
Brabus Bullit 800 coupeAnother tuner company by the name of Brabus is know for their MERCS, and C63 AMG coupe is already a beast but what Brabus has done is squeeze 800hp from the original V12 in the car, only downer is its $500K...
Gumpert Apollo EnragedEnding todays Geneva Special is the ridiculously cool and ridiculously fast Gumpert! The Gumpert Apollo is already a very well equipped car so you would never think to bring in another new version of the car, but yes... they did. The Gumpert Rampage is its name, producing 770hp, and a 0-60 time of a claimed 2.9 seconds, this car is one serious contender in supercars, which a top speed over 200, and even though it is weaker than the Apollo R, the Rampage canstill keep up with it, even though it is heavier. Gumpert says the car will cost cool $900K, worth it?

Geneva Auto Show: Ferrari, BMW, and a whole lot more

The Geneva Auto Show has started! Im going to be keeping coverage for you guys, so lets get right down to it.

The 2013 Audi RS4 Avant has been released, and if it is anything like the previous RS4 then this one wil be just as good if not better. Right now though unfortunately there is only a wagon version and not to say the wagon isn't good looking anything it really is a work of art but i really like the RS4 as a sedan, think thats where it started and thats where it should stay.2013 Audi RS4 Avant

The new Ferrari super car has been finally released formally, sporting the name F12 Berlinetta  this car is the replacement to the Ferrari ENZO. There is a problem though this car doesn't look the part, at least to me, the Enzo really is unique there is no resemblance to any Ferrari, but this new F12 you can see the characteristics from past Ferrari's influencing this one. Yes it makes sense an ode to all of the Previous Ferraris, but i really am not liking the styling of this Ferrari that much, ill get a full review out there after its official.
2013 Ferrari F12berlinetta

The BMW M6 has been released and currently there is only a convertible version but in 2013 there will be a coupe version. The car is huge but damn does it look good, and like the previous M6 this is definitely making the power the only question is can it put that power down, i guess we will see soon enough, personally though i do not like the front headlights but i can live with it.

2012 BMW M6 Convertible / 2013 M6 Coupe

Jeep came out announcing a different Jeep Cherokee variant, the Jeep Cherokee Sports, right now it is just a concept but the car doesn't really make sense to me. Jeep as we know it already has the amazing SRT variant of the Cherokee so why make a sport version, it sort of like the ///M Performance idea being put out and being done by BMW. A base Jeep which is already pretty well equipped it about 60K right now, and that is the SRT version not the regular, but a fully loaded Jeep Grand Cherokee is around 53K, so im guessing like ///M Performance the Sport edition is going to be right in the middle of a fully loaded Regular and SRT Chreokee. I will not lie though the Sports edition does look pretty sick.Jeep Grand Cherokee Sport concept

Ferrari California rocking from HRE wheels, i love how the photographer was able to contrast the color of the wheels with the sun a very difficult thing to do properly. Besides the obvious skill in photography as y'all might know i am not the biggest fan of the Ferrari California, not the prettiest ferrari or most useful but this one definitely is looking good. Enjoy

Quick Fix: Ferrari's Bemeers and Predators

2013 Ferrari F620 GT
Starting off the news is the new 599 replacement, its name, the F620 GT and this model is expected to have more than 700 hp and knowing Ferrari this car will be able to put it all down. On the bad side though i am not a big fan of the styling, a little to curvy for me i wish it was hard like the current 599.

Following up with Ferrar is the next replacement for the ENZO, it rumored to have 900+ hp and to tell you frankly im not sure if a Ferrari really needs 900+ hp, Ferrari knows how to work their traction control and how to keep their body weight down so 900 hp really just seems more like something to brag about.

Porsche is coming out with a new SUV. This SUV is going to be smaller than the Cayenne and it is a pretty good looking car, although most of the styling features seem to be stolen from lexus, i guess we'll wait till the concrete concept is out.

Above is a video of the 2013 mustang, it a new comercial that just came out recently and frankly is a bit creepy. It seems like what Ford has done is built a car that is a chameleon predator that can show the true identity of like 8 year old girls who really are actually black angels..... yes i did just take it that far, whatever the matter the mustang does look pretty good i will admit!
The first real showing of the M performance is here, the 135i Hatch Back, this car is putting down somewhere around 300hp from of course the amazing inline 6 N54, this is just a concept but i would not be surprised if it did become a reality. I am still mad that the ///M badge is being used becuase for those of us who dont really know that much about cars will automatically assume anything with an ///M means a really fast ride, so BMW in turn is probably going to be causing more crashes and street racing incidents wince everybody wants to show off their....///M

Start of Mods

This past monday i had taken my car to a local shop(Acura TL) and had them take my mid muffler out and install a nice aluminized straight pipe. This all cost just a mere $30 but the enjoyment after 3 days of having this mod is unimaginable. My car has a nice low deep tone in its rev range now, sounding somewhat like a g37, i love it and i defiantly have found a new hobby. This weekend i do plan to take my intake resonator out, i already took my bumper off to check where it is, courtesy of the photo below (vids coming soon). I encourage all of you to start really exploring your cars and seeing what it is and how it is that they work and operate, because i do assure you it is one amazing process.

Quick Fix

The Chicago Autoshow is right around the corner, and there are going to be some cool cars there, a Mazda Miata Special edition is debuting as well as the new Bettle TDI, stay tuned for more news when the show opens up.

The famous F1 drivers received some beautiful Ferrari Red Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT8 and, they definitely look slick there is no doubt about it.

In other more crazy news Hennessy, the legendary HP tuners of today, are coming out with an 800+ hp kit for the Mclaren MP4-12C

The new BMW 328i seems to be getting more and more economic with some new "conservative" numbers of MPG at 36. The question is has this hindered the mantra "The Ultimate Driving Machine"?, who knows probably not, as BMW magically can keep all the wheels spinning at the same time, but wont really know till official reviews come out.

Rumors are going around that the new convertible GT500 Mustang will be able to hit 200 Mph, and with a car that big it will be a sight to see, i wonder if you can do 200 in it with the top up to??? hmmmm experiment anybody?

The court system is crazy, people can sue you over anything now days and now Honda knows what that feels like. Earlier this week there was a case in claims court about how a mans Honda Civic did not get the milage that was advertised and of course since he lived in California he could get some power to the people. Even though it wasnt a large sum Honda ended up paying 10K to the man for all of his troubles, oh what has this world come to.

The new audi R8 GT Spyders pricing has been released and man is it one big price tag, $211,000 yes $211K for a car that cant even hit 200 mph. Now another problem with this price is that a regular Audi R8 V10 will only set you back $114,000 so question is then what does the GT give you? Well, you get 0-60 in 3.8 seconds, a hp rating of 560 and some cool carbon fiber parts, and personally to me, i think that is ridiculous to spend $100K more on those parts, i would rather get my own Hennessy Kit.

The Aston Martin One-77
A beautiful car with a very agressive look, Aston Martin was definitely going for a game changer with this car. Now obviously by just looking at this car you can admire it but there is a huge problem, this car doesnt come with a Dual-Clutch Transmission, now what that means is this car is one bitch to start. There are paddle transmission and Dual Clutch, Dual clutch transmission are better because they prime the upper and lower gear for a change, paddle transmission just primes one so its a more sluggish system. The video below is to show just how in efficient this transmission is, take a look, laugh a little, drool a little, and dream a little.

MAS-232
Wide-Body S2000. May not be the most popular cars on the street but these s2k's are not things to be messed with, honda really outdid expectations with this car and looking as this bad boy right here it even outdid custom tuners expectations. This car is rocking all JDM (Japanese Domestic Market, only Japanese parts) and it looks amazing not to mention JDM cars are less than dime a dozen anywhere and if you see one you really are blessed especially if they got the JDM signs on it.

Car Town

Yes... this is another post about car town and this whole post really is just an announcement that Car Town has finally put the e46 Bmw M3 in the game as well as slurry of other cars, unfortunately there is no competition package version M3 in the game, but it is definitely awesome. For those of you wondering what in the world is Car Town is a Facebook game that is young, cartoonish and fun, some might consider it childish but i think it is cool. Go ahead and search it online and enjoy!

Ferrari 458
The 24 Hour Rolex has started and the beautiful Ferrari 458 is on the track. This Ferrari is obviously not a street going version but in terms of the street going version i think the 458 is beautiful, its sleek, low, and sexy, like any Ferrari, but this car maximizes that look with smooth lines and low drag.

Quick Fix

Today's Quick fix is going to be pretty interesting, i got some cool videos for you and some interesting news.

First up a Pagani Zonda F has been crashed in Japan and is it totaled... most indefinitely. Being 1 out of 25 this car is super rare and just to see it should be something like seeing jesus walk on water while a UFO abducts him.... maybe a bit dramatic but true! Rumors are the car belonged to one of the top executives of Dolce and Gabbana, so maybe perfume had temporaily blinded them, but whatever the it is a sad day.

2 Teens in Canada had sent a Lego man in space! Now it may not be anything having to do with cars but it is defiantly cool, they got an atmospheric balloon and attached a GPS, Lego man, and a Camera to this balloon and sent it straight up. They got some pretty cool views from their camera, only gripe i have is that you dont get to see the rig falling all the way to the ground.
The other day i had posted a video on the Toyota Le Mans prototype and today i have a video if it, if you listen carefully, well not really carefully but pay attention, you will notice the electric engine switching to the monstrous V-8

Ending today's quick fix is an article by Car and Driver called Lightening Lap, and its definitely my most favorite feature article by Car and Driver, the writing is good and so are the cars check it out here.

Ferrari 599 GTO
Personally when i first saw this car i thought it was way to big and bulky to be a Ferrari but eventually i started to see the light. This GTO is one serious car its even rumored to soon be the Enzo replacement and if any car can do that then it is definitely worthy of some envy from the Average Car Guy

2012 Toyota TS030 HYBRID
Toyota TS030 Hybrid. No this is not a street car, it is Toyotas return to the racing circuit since 1998! This is of a rare breed of Hybrid race cars that Toyota was trying to come out with, hopefully they impliment this tech into some sports cars then we'll be all set.
