Wide-Body S2000. May not be the most popular cars on the street but these s2k's are not things to be messed with, honda really outdid expectations with this car and looking as this bad boy right here it even outdid custom tuners expectations. This car is rocking all JDM (Japanese Domestic Market, only Japanese parts) and it looks amazing not to mention JDM cars are less than dime a dozen anywhere and if you see one you really are blessed especially if they got the JDM signs on it.

Car Town

Yes... this is another post about car town and this whole post really is just an announcement that Car Town has finally put the e46 Bmw M3 in the game as well as slurry of other cars, unfortunately there is no competition package version M3 in the game, but it is definitely awesome. For those of you wondering what in the world is Car Town is a Facebook game that is young, cartoonish and fun, some might consider it childish but i think it is cool. Go ahead and search it online and enjoy!

The 24 Hour Rolex has started and the beautiful Ferrari 458 is on the track. This Ferrari is obviously not a street going version but in terms of the street going version i think the 458 is beautiful, its sleek, low, and sexy, like any Ferrari, but this car maximizes that look with smooth lines and low drag.

Quick Fix

Today's Quick fix is going to be pretty interesting, i got some cool videos for you and some interesting news.

First up a Pagani Zonda F has been crashed in Japan and is it totaled... most indefinitely. Being 1 out of 25 this car is super rare and just to see it should be something like seeing jesus walk on water while a UFO abducts him.... maybe a bit dramatic but true! Rumors are the car belonged to one of the top executives of Dolce and Gabbana, so maybe perfume had temporaily blinded them, but whatever the it is a sad day.


2 Teens in Canada had sent a Lego man in space! Now it may not be anything having to do with cars but it is defiantly cool, they got an atmospheric balloon and attached a GPS, Lego man, and a Camera to this balloon and sent it straight up. They got some pretty cool views from their camera, only gripe i have is that you dont get to see the rig falling all the way to the ground.

The other day i had posted a video on the Toyota Le Mans prototype and today i have a video if it, if you listen carefully, well not really carefully but pay attention, you will notice the electric engine switching to the monstrous V-8

Personally when i first saw this car i thought it was way to big and bulky to be a Ferrari but eventually i started to see the light. This GTO is one serious car its even rumored to soon be the Enzo replacement and if any car can do that then it is definitely worthy of some envy from the Average Car Guy

Toyota TS030 Hybrid. No this is not a street car, it is Toyotas return to the racing circuit since 1998! This is of a rare breed of Hybrid race cars that Toyota was trying to come out with, hopefully they impliment this tech into some sports cars then we'll be all set.

The Nissan Juke-R . The Nissan GT-R is considered one of the best super cars in the world, and even at $100K its definitely a bargain for what you get. In the picture above you do not see a GT-R you see a Juke-R, a crossover car that has GT-R wheels, a GT-R drive train, and GT-R performance. This car may not be on the pretty side but what Nissan is doing is what all car companies should do, they are taking a leap and they dont know if they will get to the other side or not, the car industry is holding back, taking the safe way, and this Nissan Juke-R is what all companies should be doing.... for fun.

Quick Fix

Chevrolet's Camaro ZL1 is getting dirty against their main competitors the GT500. Chevrolet used the GT500's driver manual against them. The Driver's manual said that the GT500 was not built for track use, following with proposed things you should do to the car in order for it to be track ready. The Camaro jumped right onto this statement saying their car was meant to be run hard and that it was "Track-Ready". The Camaro ZL1 is one mean car but so is the GT500, which makes this an interesting battle.


Super cars are great, however, just because you add a super to them doesn't mean that they can conquer anything. Just how Superman's weakness was Kryptonite, the weakness to all super cars is...SNOW. As shown by the video below the cars aren't meant for snow, and neither are the drivers. The video is shot in Seattle while hosting 2 inches of snow! Yes, a whopping 2 inches.

Next is a video made by one of the the most influential car companies of all time, Porsche. The video follows Porsche through their entire existence starting from the beginning to the present, of course showcasing the 911

The BMW M6 has been spied! She is looking pretty good, I don't care for the lights, and this just looks like a softer version of the M5. I hope it isn't as fast because the M5 is a beast!

The Hyundai Sonata is an interesting car, I don't find it particularly pretty, quick, cool, or nice, but it does have good gas mileage, especially the Hybrid. The Hybrid is going to have a lifetime warranty, which really is amazing and it shows how much Hyundai trusts the quality of their car. Hyundai has also said they are working on a 10 speed automatic transmission, and to me that is crazy because 10 gears is way too many and the car won't even know which to choose, but I guess impressions will have to wait until after it's done.

On the last note for today, GM is looking into interactive windows. It sounds like something from a science fiction novel but everyday we are getting closer to the future. This interactive window will be a way for rear seated passengers to do pretty much anything by looking and interacting with the window; this will be one cool addition to the car world.

Does Porsche own designers?

Quickly ranting, yesterday I posted a picture of a possible Porsche Caymantte, it's a 3 door Porsche and even if this picture is fake it kind brings up a question, does Porsche even design their cars anymore?

All Porsche cars look the same; just like BMW's they have similar characteristics but every Porsche seems to have the same design. The Boxster, Cayman and 911 all look pretty much the same, what is Porsches excuse for this? well they say they dont need to change te style which makes sense, i mean afterall Porsche has the most famous profile of all time. This is a little side note but there are so many different types of 911's, there are 18 different models and that doesn't include the GT2 and GT3, sorry but i dont get why you need that many cars!

Continuing on the topic the forst example i want to pull up is the Porsche Panamera, its pretty much an elongated 911, and i do not think its the prettiest car but from certain angles(I.E. the front) the car looks good but only because i cant see the rest of the thing. Yes it has a boat load of performance comparable to super cars but its a confused car.

Now the Caymantte doesn't make any sense its the front end of all the porsche with the back end of a shrinkened shortened Range Rover Evoke, which btw also isnt the best looking car. I really hope that picture was a fake and that it never does happen but we'll have to wait and see as it seems all there famous car companies are starting to "diversify" and whether its good or not will have to wait.

The 2013 Audi A6 All Road has been announced the worse part about it though... its not going to be sold in America which is rather sad because i love the Audi Wagons!

Toyota has announced some special goodies for the GT86, it will have special TRD performance parts and they really do look amazing, some Big Break Kits, Special Alloys, new Diffuser, and changed steering ratios.



Bentley is now jumping on a huge opportunity in addition to releasing a V-12 Coupe they are trying to attract old Maybach customers, makes sense but if Mercedes is already going to be basing a class on the old Maybachs then why would anybody go to Bentley if they were already with Bentley.

Ferrari decided to staer the year off with some fun and pit Massa and Alonso, the renowned F1 drivers against eachother with Ferrari FF's. If you ask me just a marketing add for the FF really.

BMW has made the X4 a reality and i think its pretty stupid. Here is a little comparasion, the X3 is to the X4 as the X5 is to the X6, so following this the X4 is a mini X6 haha, thatll definitly open the market up BMW

The Dubai 24 is an absolutly brutal race and for Audi it was apparent but they got a break from Facebook! The pit crew were repairing the car 8 1/2 hours into the race and needed to know where the relays for the starters were, and one of the Engineers for Audi happend to see the post and answer! You really are lucky Audi.

///M Performance

That title.... oh its what i love, well at least thats what i thought. Before, well today, i would look at that title and automatically assume M3 or M5 or, 1M these days, but BMW is taking a different look at when and where the godly M should appear on cars. So lets start with the 2000's its the current century and man has it introduced a lot of amazing cars, but for BMW it made what was probably the most iconic car of all time for BMW the E46 ///M3, and of course everybody wanted a piece of the action but well lets face it, the M3 was a pretty expensive car.

Street Legal.Pretty Much

The fact that people wanted some part of the ///M in their car presented BMW with a business plan! Why what is this plan you ask? well its a way to give people some cool car parts with some fun ///M badges and charge them thousands of dollars for it! Since then the "M Package" add-on has been a huge addition in the world of BMW and in some cases it actually made sense for some special edition BMW's. This isn't the end of BMW's madness though, before 2009 the ///M Division consisted of the coveted M3, and M5, in 2009 things got a bit weird. The X5M, yes the SUV, got an M badge, but one that was deserving of it, an SUV that pumped out 555 Horses and 500 Ib of TORQUE, the car was an absolute monster but among the ///M purists this car was a disgrace, but to BMW it was yet another Niche Market that they could tap into and make some more money. There were rumors that some ///M employees were monumentally ticked off at the idea of an M SUV but obviously they couldn't stop what was coming.

X5M

So lets fast forward to today, in-between 2009 and today we got the introduction of the Turbo Engines in ///M cars, the 1M, Current M5, and the Ugly X6M, oh not to mention the rumored "Tri-Turbo" on the next M3. So turbochargers come out of no where, we get 2 new series, and more ridiculousness. Now all of this is a pretty negative outlook on the situation but the frustration is there, BMW is making so many side markets that it almost seems impossible for them to make their original M3 and M5 any better. So ignoring all of this, BMW seems to have made yet again another new market, a new variation of BMW's, one that is in between the regular and the ///M. The name of this new market is ///M Performance, for people who cant handle an ///M price wise or performance wise or need more than a regular BMW. This...kinda makes me mad, i thought BMW screwed up with just a 1 Series and the X6 and now they are adding this new line... not to mention this line will consist of the X5, 335i, and the X6.

X6 M Performance?

So we aren't going to concentrate on the X5, or the X6, but we are going to concentrate rather on the 335is, ok soooooo lets see, the 335is starts at 52K and the M3 starts at 60K so theoretically the M performance version should be around 56K, now for performance 0-60 around 5 seconds and the M3 around 4.6 seconds so the M performance line should be around 4.8. Now yes i am being a bit crude with this but isnt that what BMW said the Performance line would be, yes of course we arent looking at skid pad tests, or differentials or all that other technical stuff but it doesn't matter because the 3 series is still an amazing performance car, and so is the ///M3. Frankly BMW could do away will all of their 1,future 4, 6, and 7 series, all they need is the 3 and 5 series(including X5 and X3, even though they are the same thing). So final question, what is the point of an M Performance? Does BMW really need it or is it just another marketing edition to boost those quarterly profit, whatever the answer, as i have said before and will say again BMW is moving away from what made people fall in love with them, yes their cars are amazing and ill love every last one, but whether or not ill appreciate them is another story. Quick Fix

First drives of the Hyundai 2013 Veloster are starting to come out and frankly, the weird door design with the very dull 1.6 liter four got what it deserved. I mean sure the car is innovative but lets be realistic the thing is an oddity and doesnt seem like anyody is in the market right now for oddities.

Acuras ILX has been announced and it really seems like Acura is conflicted, they came out with a new RDX concept to as well and i dont what they are trying to get at. They are trying to many things at once and frankly im getting sick of it, they have the TSX RL TL and the MDX and frankly thats all they need why are they trying to "Diversify" especially when they got a huge company like Honda supporting them.

Save the Manuals! A rather popular car campaign going on in the car world seems to be working. BMW announced that the mental BMW M5 will come with a stick shift option!, in my opinion the car is to big to have one but i havent driven it have i.... im sure itll feel amazing, it'll just be interesting to see what gear ratios BMW chooses.

In more strange news Rolls Royce had their highest amount of sales ever this year, and if i havent been mistaken arent people still saying we are in a depression or recession or whatever you want to call it. Doesnt really make sense to me why Rolls would be selling alot, it doesnt make sense to me why they would sold at all actually simply becuase i rather drive my cars than be driven in them but whatever the matter is, Congratulations Rolls Royce.

Above is a video the Acura NSX progressing from its 1990's stage to the new concept and man does it look nice, this may just be a video for a game but if the NSX is anything like that its going to make alot of people smile.

We all have it and there is not denying it, we all want a dream car garage so here is mine this is only a top ten and it wont be extravagent but will definetly be awesome. Keep in mind these cars wont be some original Ford GT, these are all current cars that can actually be bought and not a collectors piece!

10. BMW E90 M3 Sedan- So there are many cars out there that people would dream about but this is first car is a sensible car that will pretty much be my daily driver.... BMW M3 Sedan. I love the look and stance of it, its a sensible car that can put up with the daily driving, and then give me some fun for the weekend, and it wont be modded to the roof but itll have some clean looks.

9.E46 BMW M3- I really just have to have this car, its my dream car and i swear its the last ///M on this list... well there might be one more, but i cant ditch that beautiful tune that this Straight Six spits out even if they are raspy and metallic. Id probably keep the current one in the house if my dad hands her down but otherwise ill be getting a separate one and it will be pretty sick.

Now it starts to get tough the first two are absolute must haves for me from here on out i had to think about them, except for number 1;] 

8. Acura NSX- A car that may not be that fast but sounds amazing, not to mention this car has still kept its value even after 10 years of production stopping. She is rare, quick, and just down right cool especially when cleanly modded. 

7. Porsche 911 GT2 RS- Coming from possibly the most successful and iconic car company in the world the GT2 had to be in the garage, granted this would easily have been the GT3 RS but personally i like my car without the silly writing on the side. This car is a classifiable super car and i love it, i never really use to be a Porsche fan considering the way they build cars doesn't make any sense, but if you can produce this beauty and still keep an engine in the WAY back then i wanna experience this for myself.... everyday. 

6. Ferrari F430- A stable wouldn't be anything without a horse right? hat's the exact reason why i chose this v-8 beast of a car, a Ferrari F430 in Ferrari Red is something that every car enthusiast needs to have  in their dream garage. I mean i really cant say much else, it just belongs here. 

5. Aston Martin V-12 Vantage- The James Bond brand, i really wouldnt be complete without a car that i could role up in and feel like a spy. This car has a beautiful exhaust note and a mean grunt especially with that V-12.

4. Maserati Quattroporte S- Finally we get to this thing a four door besides the ///M, this car has a godly exhaust note and as explained in Top Gear is a "Hit-Man" and they definitely are true this car can kill people with the stares that it gives and no doubt needs to be in my dream garage, i guess i have a soft spot for 4 doors 

3. This car has always been a car that i have adored and even after they ended it i think it will still go down as one of the greatest and biggest bad ass car ever made. The Simple Beautiful Lamborghini Murcielago LP 640-4. Yes it may not be a SV but its clean and fast as hell. 

The top 2 are finally here, hmmm this really is a tough one, but i have to go with the Ferrari F40, its the most raw you can get with any super car and even Ferrari wasnt able to replicate another one. This car was genesis and served to improve all Super cars after its design and today it can still stick with some top of the line super cars. 

1. Finally the number one car, this car has been on my mind ever since i first saw it, looks like something a 5 year old drew up, bites like a lions jaw,its a piece of art and its absolutely beautiful, The Pagani Zonda Cinque, I''ll let the picture do the talking.

Quick Fix

The 2015 BMW i8 Prototype is starting to become more of a reality and frankly it looks nothing like how you would expect a BMW to look like. Now even though the whole car is in camo the body type is still obvious, ill probably have a seperate article on this but for now you can gawk at these spy photos.

The Bentley Continentals V8 GT prices have been leaked! the projected price is around $170K, for a car that producing 567hp and has the Bentley badge seems like a pretty good deal.

Audi announces the 2012 A1 Quattro, a little hatchback that'll do 0-60 in 5.7 seconds with a 256 HP 4-Cylinder Engine. A sleek looking car and will definetly give some competition to the Mini John Cooper Works.

Dodge announces some mopar upgrades for the 2012 Dodge Charger. There will be 3 stage kits, and these "kits" will increase the power of the war to 590 Horses of hell, thatll be one fun V-8 to drive.

In some New Year Day news in California somebody has been setting cars on fire! The fires started on Thursday and rumors are 40 cars have fallen prone to this unknown criminal, and its not just hondas and toyotas getting torched this ranges all the way to the mighty BMW and if i was Bimmer id be pissed somebody is making my cars a fire pit.

Car of the Year-

After much deliberation among... well myself a final conclusion has been reached on the car of the year. This car is not the most affordable or very economical, it doesnt offer 4 seats or a ride that'll glide over the road. What this car does give though is shear happiness, a car that replaced an icon and brought in a new era of the common Supercar with new technology, driving experience, and all around awesomeness. It may not be the quickest car in the world, the fastest car in the world, or the most iconic car in the world, but it is one that found its way in our hearts from the day it was announced and it definitely set a benchmark. New Year

Happy New Years everybody i hope you all had a great time celebrating but lets all keep in mind that with this 2012 year comes new cars, ranging from Acura to Volvo new expectations are being drawn and improvements will be made on the old. This is going to be an exciting year for me and i hope for you and hey maybe we'll get some new world record holders ;]
